After working as an assistant for the likes of Metropolis and Eden studios James secured a job at Pink Floyds “Britannia Row studios”.
It was there that he really got into the swing of engineering , making a name for himself doing young bands and pop records….and making the tea! When the time was right he left to go freelance , recording and mixing a huge variety of records and 5.1 projects. The last few years have seen James move into the role as producer, initially after forming great relationships with artists that he engineered for. He continues to work around a broad array of artists as diverse as Cheryl Cole’s number 1 album through to My Vitriol.
James has most recently produced and mixed the latest Skindred album “Union Black” which is getting rave reviews from press and fans.
